Program underwriting appetite.
- Small commercial GL on ISO classifications per our eligible class-code listing
- Contractors, manufacturing, and processing or service operations
- Retail, wholesale and distributors, and convenience stores, grocery, and supermarkets
- Office and retail lessor's risk, professional offices, vacant property, and warehouses
- Restaurants without alcohol, live entertainment, or late-night operations
- Apartments and other habitational or lodging occupancies; hotels, motels, apartment hotels
- Hospitality — nightclubs, lounges, bars, taverns, and adult entertainment
- Fine dining; restaurants with alcohol, live entertainment, 24-hour, or after-midnight service
- Daycare, human services, healthcare, nursing, or assisted living
- General contractors, roofing, scaffolding, highway or road work, excavation, and land grading
- Storage or warehousing for others; food manufacturing; gas or fuel sales or delivery
- Incidental hired & non-owned auto for nominal exposures such as occasional errands
- Accounts within program premium and coverage authority
- Hired & non-owned auto for risks with delivery exposure, owned autos, or commercial auto policies
- Limits, premiums, or coverage exceeding program authority (referred prior to quoting)
- Any single account premium greater than $50,000, or annual revenue over $10,000,000 (referred)
- Common property reflecting pride of ownership and maintained in safe working condition
- At least 70% building occupancy (lower potentially eligible with vacancy provisions)
- New ventures under three years where the owner or operator has relevant experience (documented)
- Subcontractors and service providers carrying limits equal to or greater than the insured's
- Owned buildings with any habitational or lodging operations
- Unfenced swimming pools, or pools with diving boards or slides
- Buildings over 12 stories, on or over water, or with aluminum wiring
- Occupancies with high fire load or significant special hazards; buildings failing life-safety guidelines
- Recreational facilities; shooting ranges, hunting or archery; skiing or jet-ski operations
- Trailing five-year loss history supporting a 50% or better loss ratio
- Private parking only as a secondary class
- Three or more paid losses in the trailing five years (declined or referred)
- Oil rigging or extraction; nuclear plant or refinery work
- Employed armed guards or security staff
- Marinas and docking for boats; any federal, state, or government office
- Risk non-renewed by a prior carrier for non-compliance with loss-control recommendations
